Bitdefender’s CEO and founder
Florin Talpeș, Bitdefender’s CEO and founder, is a visionary entrepreneur, who has worked in the IT security business for the past 20 years. Right after the “fall” of the soviet bloc in 1990, with his wife Mariuca, he created Softwin, one of the first ever Romanian private software companies and the mother company of Bitdefender.
Founded in 2001, Bitdefender is a global security technology company, delivering solutions protecting over 500 million users in more than 150 countries, from private individuals to employees of the world’s largest corporations. As a founder of the National Association of Software Services Industry, Florin Talpeș has helped develop a major hub in the IT World in Central and Eastern Europe by encouraging international expansion of technology start-ups.

Konrad Kaschek studied Physics at the Leibniz University Hannover in Germany. In 1985 he joined BOSCH.
Working for the company since more than three decades he got a wide range of experience covering several business areas and leadership functions.
As well he was actively contributing to the global business development of BOSCH living and working in different countries of the triade.
Konrad holds a Dr.rer.nat. (Ph.D) in Plasmaphysics.

Bachelor of the Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Administration Economique, Paris, France, Mr. François BLOCH made his entire career within Société Générale and he held the following positions: Broker, then Head of the brokerage department on derivatives markets on Société Générale Elsässische Bank, Frankfurt(1990 – 1993); Deputy Head, then Head of the SG’s subsidiary, FIMAT Banque, Zweigniederlassung Frankfurt(1993 -1997); Deputy Head of Risks, then Head of Risks, FIMAT International Banque Paris (1997 – 2000); General Manager, FIMAT USA Inc. (2000-2002); Deputy Chief Executive Officer – Member of the Board of Directors, FIMAT International Banque (2002-2007); Head of Strategy and Integration, Newedge (2008-2009) and Non-executive Member of the Board of Directors, Newedge Group (brokerage subsidiary of Société Générale) (2010-2012); Head of Credit Risk on Financial Institutions and Country Risks department, Société Générale (2009-2012).
Between 2012 and November 2016 he has held the positions of First Vice-President, then First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board – Member of the Management Board – Member of the Board of Directors,Rosbank PAO.
Since December 21, 2016, he holds the position of CEO of BRD – Groupe Société Générale SA.

Steve Tarpey MA is a UK based leadership and OD expert who has worked with organisations around the globe as a consultant, developer and coach. He is a long-standing faculty member of one of the leading Masters level OD programmes in the UK and has worked with senior leaders from all parts of the public, private and charitable sectors. He has undertaken assignments in many parts of the world, from Ethiopia to Korea to Brazil and beyond.
He has supported leaders and organisations in many organisations through times of significant change, whether arising from rapid growth or challenging commercial environments. However, alongside his deep understanding of organisations, Steve has extensive experience of working with senior leaders as a coach, mentor and critical friend, based on a belief that organisational success starts with healthy, resilient and authentic individual leaders.
General Manager Emerson Cluj
Balazs Hopka, General Manager of the Emerson Cluj Campus, has over 21 years of professional experience in the fields of supply chain and shared services, covering various roles in logistics, materials management and operations throughout his career.
He started at Emerson 19 years ago, serving the company in various roles of increasing responsibility within their Hungarian operations. He became Director, Corporate Logistics for Europe in 2008 supervising the logistics services for all European business units of Emerson.
Then in 2013 he was promoted to his current role and relocated to Cluj-Napoca together with his family.
The Emerson Campus in Cluj has more than 2400 employees spread within 6 manufacturing business units and 3 major shared services groups.

CEO, NTT DATA Romania
Daniel Metz is the businessman who founded 17 years ago EBS Romania SA, a company that was acquired in 2013 by the Japanese company NTT DATA, considered today one of the most important suppliers in the local and international IT industry. As an economist, Daniel Metz has previously served as Development, Quality Assurance and Technical Services Director, but also as an ERP Implementation Consultant Manager in a German company. At the moment, Metz continues to hold the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) position at NTT DATA Romania.

Lucrez în CDM din 1994. Sunt Consultant senior, iar din 1997 sunt director executiv. Am absolvit Automatizari si Calculatoare în 1990. O mare oportunitate pentru viata si cariera mea este colaborarea cu Roffey Park Management Institute, Marea Britanie. În 1994 am încheiat un program intensiv de 8 saptamani de „Train the Trainers” iar apoi, ca urmare a unui proces de doi ani de studiu prin metoda Self-Managed Learning am obtinut „Diploma in Management Development” în 1997. Partea de cunostinte si conceptualizare am întarit-o predând, în paralel cu munca de consultant, ca lector asociat, Management Comparat, Management Strategic si Marketing pentru doua universitati, intre 1993 si 1997. Am scris articole si materiale pentru ziare si reviste si am contribuit la scrierea a 4 carti de specialitate. Caut mereu perspective noi – prin lectura, prin programe de instruire (Crown Agents, UK, Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK, Gruppo Soges), prin discutiile cu colegii mei si alti profesionisti in cadrul unor asociatii sau forumuri profesionale si prin participarea ca speaker sau participant îi diferite conferinte.

With over 13 years experience in SSO and BPO environments, Andreea Van den Bosch is the Head of Human Resources Operations and Managing Director at Bombardier Transportation’s Operations Centre in Cluj Napoca.
With multiple roles in her career, ranging from Customer Service, Finance, HR Business Partnering and HR Operations, she has grown within Bombardier for the past 6 years and is now overseeing the full spectrum of HR operations from talent acquisition and development, performance management, organizational development for the whole EMEA region.
Managing one of the country’s largest Operations Center with a global reach and impact brings employee experience, business sustainability and market awareness are at the core of operations and its key performance indicators. As Bombardier is growing so is the local Cluj market which has substantially influenced candidate selection as well as company’s internal processes aimed at professional growth.

Cu o vastă experienţă internațională, Andreea a lucrat pentru companii din Londra, New York şi Bruxelles, deținând poziții precum Head of Reward, Group Central Functions la Barclays Plc London; Senior Consultant pentru Towers Perrin în Londra, New York şi Bruxelles; precum şi poziția de Director Asociat în divizia de Global Equities pentru Deutsche Bank Securities New York.
Andreea a absolvit Facultatea de Relații Economice Internaționale din cadrul Academiei de Studii Economice Bucureşti şi programul de MBA al Universităţii Tulane, A. B. Freeman School of Business din Statele Unite.
În prezent, Andreea face parte din Board-ul HR Club şi este membru fondator al Romanian Education Trust şi Romanian Business Club din UK.
